new shoes

new green shoes

Mary Jo and I found these shoes for a great deal when we were Black kFriday shopping late in the day (we did not in any way try to brave the morning crouds- it was like 5 pm by the time we left the house).

I like them a lot. They've worn in well and are now quite comfortable. The best thing? They work with black or brown stuff- so I don't have to think about it, just slip them on and head out the door.

I'm sure I'll like them even more when we've used Mary Jo's carpet cleaner on all of our carpets again and set a 'no shoes in the house' rule. Sophia is scooting around too much for us to keep walking on the carpets with shoes that have been all over creation- if you think about it, it's the same as saying "my baby can not chew on my shoes".

I love the shoes!! Where did you find them?

We also have tried to adopt a no-shoes policy (only semi-successfully). The other day, we had a guy come out to work on our furnace, so he was back and forth from the garage to the thermostat many times... and I was like, "Do I ask him to take his shoes off every time??" I had quite the dilemma over this!
(In the end I did not make him do this... but he tracked a bunch of leaves into our entryway!)

Those are really cute! I can never seem to find cute shoes. Stuart tried to enforce a no shoes policy in our apartment when we first moved in, which is no big deal for me, because I prefer to be barefoot! But, for guests, it's awkward to say - Hey! Coul dyou thrown your shoes over there in that big pile? Too bad we don't have an Asian cultural background.=)
