ran across this post about un-toys a few days ago... it really got me (re) thinking.
We'll see what new things around here we can add into our play (besides the normal spoons, cups, and pans that Sophia drags out...) :)

Those "pieces of tree" blocks are great. We keep them out in my classroom and the kids keep going back to them--it's interesting to see how each group of children uses them differently, too.
My mama was SO smart in all ways....before it was cool!!!
I can always re-do the way I think about toys. It evolves as my kids evolve.
