It really really does!
I used some yesterday afternoon, because I was having hiccups that HURT! It is a medicine for kids, but they have an adult dosage on there too. We've been giving this to Sophia when she had an upset stomach/reflux type stuff. Works for that too. Bad thing? It's only good for like 2 or 3 months after you open it- the potency reduces over time.
