Parmesean Chicken

Baked Parmesean chicken with Spaghetti and sauce as a side.
Not too difficult to make- though you have to make it while your chicken is 'fresh' and not been frozen yet as this is a marinade type dish. Pretty yummy and healthy feeling.

I think this is the fourth week he's been wearing underwear exclusively during the day, he hasn't had an accident in over a week, He's made it to the potty a few times after HIM telling US that he had to go! I didn't really know how this would play out- for the first 3 weeks it was me taking him to the bathroom once an hour and making him try to go. Yesterday I decided to mostly trust him... to see how he'd do. HE DID AWESOME!

He's not using his little potty any more though- in fact, after this picture, we discovered that he's just a bit too big for it now- resulting in wet pants and a mess on the carpet... figures, after we send the carpet cleaner home with Erik's mom- we have a mess on our hands...

Also, Matthew was noticed at the craft store by the cashier- a few weeks ago we were there and she asked him "How are you doing today young man?" Matthew responded "I not a young man! I superman! See? It on mine bottom!" and he then attempted to show her his superman bum. I had to explain that we were potty training... She thought it was hilarious. When we were there yesterday, she asked if he had his Superman underwear on...

"no" he replied, "Just mine Buzz Lightyear."

It really really does!
I used some yesterday afternoon, because I was having hiccups that HURT! It is a medicine for kids, but they have an adult dosage on there too. We've been giving this to Sophia when she had an upset stomach/reflux type stuff. Works for that too. Bad thing? It's only good for like 2 or 3 months after you open it- the potency reduces over time.

We had a breakfast together on the go that morning... Erik had Physical Therapy for his back... (he's MUCH better now, but we're still not out of the woods quite yet) and then we got to take him to work.

I love Matthew's cheesy smile.

which is a picture of our downstairs sofa. I took this picture as a before picture last year when I thought I wanted slipcovers. We put the slipcovers on, steamed them out all nice, and then sat down to watch a Steeler's game... when we were finished, it looked as if we'd thrown a big wrinkly rag over the couch- so back to the store they went.

Matthew learning to open the refrigerator door this summer. I think I may have lready blogged this.... I can't remember.

I was looking back at pictures and saw this one... how I miss the opportunity to look at these beautiful crafts... Fort Days is So riomanticed for me... it's where I fell in love with Erik oh so many years ago...

oh- wait, this is about the crafts...

Sophia can...

It's hard to believe that Sophia is 3 months old already. she's just started rolling over- not just flopping from her belly to her back, but actually doing the muscle moving and pulling herself from her back to her belly. The thing about this ability that amuses me the most- is that after a few moments on her belly, her neck gets tired and she lays her head down, face right into the floor (blanket actually since we don't lay her directly on the carpet... maybe one day she can play on the carpet... when we've steam cleaned it a few times and adopted a no-shoe policy... or when she starts to crawl... which ever comes first....) then she starts to squeal because she seems to have already forgotten that she can turn herself back over. I do love helping her flip back to laying on her back though... the smile of thanks you recieve is too too wonderful.
